Soccer Fitness Inc. has published a new article “Parent’s Guide to Caffeine Use for Soccer Players” in Inside Soccer Magazine Issue #96 (May/June 2012). The article is centered around legal and practical guidelines for caffeine use in soccer, which has been shown to improve endurance, speed, and reaction time in athletes in a variety of sports, including soccer players. “For a long time, the use of caffeine for performance enhancement in sports has been the subject of controversy and confusion”, commented Richard Bucciarelli, President of Soccer Fitness Inc. “I hope this article will shed some light on the subject and provide coaches and players with some practical, evidence-based applications that will help them to optimize their performance.”
